Telluride Gay Ski Week - Volunteer

Become a part of our reliable, hard-working and fun-loving volunteer team at Telluride Gay Ski Week!

Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends, get involved with the Telluride community and earn event tickets and commemorative merchandise.

We encourage anyone interested in getting involved to read the details below, select the events and activities in which they’d like to participate and apply below.

We genuinely appreciate all of our volunteers. Volunteers are an integral part to the success of the event and we could not do it without you! We look forward to a great event.

Levels of Participation

There are two different levels at which you can choose to participate, as Event Hosts and/or Activity Hosts. What is the difference between Events vs Activities?

Events are larger ticketed parties.

Event Hosts must work at least three activities and one event in order to receive a commemorative t-shirt or hat and one ticket to an event. Unfortunately, tickets for the comedy show with Margaret Cho & Daniel Webb are excluded due to limited availability.

Activities are shorter time commitments throughout the week and are typically free programs. Activity hosts do not receive access to ticketed events. Activity host positions are designed for those with limited schedule availability and who just want to help support TGSW.

Activity Hosts can work as little as one activity to help support TGSW.

Activity Host must work two activities in order to receive a commemorative t-shirt or hat.

    Stand-Up Comedy Show - Wednesday, March 1, 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM, The Palm Theatre

    White Party - Thursday, March 2, 8:00 PM - 1:30 AM at Sheridan Opera House

    Burlesque & Drag Show & Sno Go-Go After Party - Friday, March 3, 6:30 PM - 1:30 AM at Sheridan Opera House

    Drag Brunch - Saturday, March 4, 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM at Mountain Lodge

    Burlesque & Drag Show & Glitter Ball Closing Party - Saturday, March 4, 7:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Sheridan Opera House

  • Activities include:

    Basecamp Guest Services AM - Daily, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Mountain Village

    Basecamp Guest Services PM - Daily, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Apres-Ski location of the day

    Men Ski Guide Intermediate Group - Daily, 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Base of Village Express (Lift 4)

    Men’s Ski Guide Expert Group - Daily, 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Base of Village Express (Lift 4)

    Women's Ski Guide Intermediate Group - Daily, 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Base of Village Express (Lift 4)

    Women's Ski Guide Expert Group - Daily, 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Base of Village Express (Lift 4)

    Gay Chalet Attendant - Daily, 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Gorrono Ranch

    Après Ski Host - Daily, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, different Apres locations every day

    Late Night Lounge Host - Saturday - Thursday, 8:30 PM - 12:00 AM, The Liberty Lounge

    Costume & Drag Ski Race - Friday March 3, 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Gorrono Ranch

    Pool Party Host - Saturday, March 4, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Madeline Hotel & Residences
